Ragi Bread Pancake

Ingredients : The Baker’s Dozen Ragi loaf, Sooji, Green chillies, Ginger, Curd, Onion, Capsicum, Carrot, Salt, Red chilli flakes
Method : The first step would be to make the batter. To do so, break the Ragi breads into small pieces and in a bowl, blend the bread, sooji, chopped green chillies, ginger, curd and some water. Mix well till the perfect consistency is obtained, i.e., the batter should pour easily but should not be runny. Then add finely chopped onion, capsicum, carrot, or any of your favourite veggies to the blend. Add salt and chilli flakes as per your taste and mix the batter well. Heat a non-stick pan over medium-high heat, and put 2 tsp oil into it. Carefully pour the batter onto the pan, cook until bubbles form and the edges are dry. Flip it and cook it till it’s ready. Serve it with some chutney and relish it.
Ragi Loaf Kachori
Integrating a desi twist to the plain old Ragi loaf, we guarantee that you will be licking your fingers after having a bite of the Ragi Loaf Kachori.
Ingredients : The Baker’s Dozen Ragi loaf, cumin seeds, green chillies, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, potatoes, peas, coriander
Method : Add 2 tsp oil into a pan. Add cumin seeds, green chillies, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and salt. Sauté the mixture well on low heat. Add some mashed potatoes into the pan and mix. Mix in some peas and coriander as well. Then take a ragi bread slice and cut circles by removing the edges. Flatten the centre and brush it with water. Add the prepared filling and close the Kachori. Fry in oil and enjoy!
Ragi French Toast
The Ragi French Toast is a wonderful and fulfilling breakfast option.
Ingredients : The Baker’s Dozen Ragi loaf, onions, Green chillies, Turmeric, Salt, Fresh coriander, milk, egg, oil, ketchup, mustard sauce
Procedure : Whisk together chopped onion, sliced green chilli, turmeric, salt, coriander, and egg in a bowl. Dip a slice of Ragi bread in the egg mixture. Flip the bread over and repeat on the other side. Heat a non-stick pan and add 1/2 teaspoon oil in it. Carefully place the soaked bread on the pan. Cook until the bottom side starts to turn golden brown. Turnover and cook the same way. Garnish it with some coriander leaves. Voila! It’s ready to be served.
