Now isn’t all this talk about banana bread starting to make your mouth water? Well, don’t worry because here are some tips which will help you make the most perfect, moist and delicious banana bread ever to satisfy your cravings:

1.Using overly ripe or black bananas is the hack

It is the Golden Rule for banana bread, the riper the bananas are tastier the bread is.It will provide a more flavour and also helps in holding more moisture in the product. Another trick is to use ripen as well as frozen bananas, this will enhance the flavor even better.

2. Save the butter for your favorite cake and use oil to make your moist bread

It is clear that if the fat used is butter in any cake recipe, the product tends to turn dry faster compared to oil-based cakes. This is applicable for banana bread as well. It is a great idea to use any vegetable oil as the fat. Not only it will help in retaining the moisture but also improves the shelf-life.

3. Dry  ingredients should be incorporated by gently folding it into wet ingredients

The idea here is to avoid over mixing. Sometimes mixing for a second longer can affect the quality of the final product. Since the quantity of wet ingredients in most of the banana bread recipes are high it is always easy to fold in the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.

4. Brown Sugar is the best option

The molasses flavour will simply make our banana bread to stand out from other banana breads which are made with white sugar only. A combination of both light and dark brown sugar will help not only to enhance the taste but also to give a very appealing colour to the product. Substituting some amount of brown sugar with honey or maple syrup will make it more good.

5. Add a pinch of cinnamon and nutmeg powder

Why don’t we make it extra delicious when we can achieve it simply by adding a pinch of cinnamon and nutmeg powder. Both these spices enhance the flavour to the next level.
